Further delay of Camera Suite.

Due to Apple’s feedback, there is a technical issue that Apple suspected we have used private APIs and thus the update was rejected. However, since we did not and we have replied to explain our tricks. However, we can only hope Apple will be reasonable enough to give us the green light, otherwise, further delay will be expected.

Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Dragon Notes Large Icon

We have submitted our latest apps to Apple. This is our third application with a focus on Chinese. This is a text editing tool with rich features, which helps to manage, edit and manipulate text documents on iPhone.

Main features are Copy and Paste, Search and Replace, Undo and Redo, ChangJie Input and Emoji input.

Some explanation on Chinese naming:遊龍録事(yóu-lóng-lù-shì)

龍 is Dragon, and 遊龍 refers to freely playing around dragon. 録事 is pronounced similarly to Notes and is referring to recording things. The symbol at the center is ideograph of Dragon in Chinese Zhou Dynasty.

The anti-shake feature in next version was having an issue with the 2G iPhone. This is caused by different sensitivity levels between iPhone 3G and 2G. Therefore in the coming version, The sensitivity level is tunable in a range covering both models.

We are sorry for the delay and hopefully the new version will be available within the week of 2009/01/19.

ChangJie Browser icon Dear guys, with the success of Chinese input code dictionary, we have submitted another application called 倉頡網上遊. This is a browsing tool allowing user to enter Chinese using ChangJie and JianYi. At the same time, users are still possible to switch back to the build in input methods.

The reason we build this application is because we have some painful experience using the iPhone to do some Chinese input. Maybe it was because our writing was not good enough, but some characters were hardly recognized by the system. As Cantonese speaking HK people, Pinyin input would be a bit far away. Therefore, we make this app to help the people facing the same problem as us.

Here are some screen shots:

Frankly, there are some jailbreak applications already doing similar things. But do you dare to risk your private data together with software from some suspicious sources? Maybe the original apps were created in good intention, but you never know if anyone has tempered with the original one to keep a copy of your passwords for later use! We believe App Store provide a trusted environment for user to enjoy safe applications.
